Founded in 2008 by brothers: Austin artist Mark Ansier & master ironsmith Mike Ansier (retired)
The brothers set out to “do what we love” and create the only interactive studio and gallery dedicated to Iron Art.
The operation has grown to become a design studio which enables clients to clearly envision and bring life to unique pieces with the help of masters. Once the process is underway clients return to view their custom creations in progress in the attached Studio from the air conditioned comfort of IronWaves Art Gallery. …sparks fly, and that’s cool!!!
IronWaves is located on the North Shore of Lake Travis on main Highway 1431 – a short drive from Central Austin. The Hill Country drive is breathtaking and worth it for the views!
Owner/Artist: Mark J. Ansier dtm • mbr: Texas Society of Sculptors, consults with each client. Then in the studio uses raw steel, stainless, copper and other media to uniquely create & personalize each one-of-a-kind piece of art. Designs by Mark J. Ansier including Original Sculpture, Home Accents, Furniture, Custom Doors, Gates, Railings, and so much more!! The IronWaves art gallery also features local artists’ works for sale.
We accept Residential and Commercial projects and we work with architects, designers and individual clients to create amazing pieces.
